Introduction

With the aim of promoting pleasure for reading, and developing oral expression and critical thinking skills, is proposed Tandem Reading, which would be presented, later, in class. The elements of the group should be the student and one family member.

Process

Before the lesson: • It is proposed to the students to do Tandem Reading, which would be presented, later, in class. The elements of the group should be the student and one family member. • Each pupil chose a family member to accompany him on the activity, and both prepare it. They choose a book, that both liked, they read together, silently or loudly, and they prepare the presentation to the other students ( using a digital tool). In class: • Both present the book, using a digital tool. • They talk about the plot, the characters, their favourite episodes, etc. • They comment on their tandem experience. • The other students ask questions about the book.

Conclusion

The students and their families prepared the activity with enthusiasm, under the guidance of teacher. It is expected that the presentations will go well and motivate other students to read the same book.
